Press-book
Details: The Phantasm Japanese press-book is a unique item
because it contains a number of rare/possibly never-before-seen
photographs and because 90% of it is in a foreign-text. Plus the cover
is adorned with a sweet piece of art-work involving Mike floating over
a grave-yard reflected inside of a silver sphere. From cover to cover,
it's twenty pages long. Screenshots of this can be found on the now
out-of-print MGM special edition of Phantasm which is itself becoming a
collectible.
Availability:
This is a pretty rare item but keep your eye on eBay and you may find
one. I've also seen these at horror conventions going for some absurd
prices, so beware the cost.
Value: While
this item is a somewhat rare find, I wouldn't advise paying more than
$20 for it plus shipping.
