In 2005, NECA released this
officially licensed action figure of the
Tall Man as part their Cult Classics line. This second wave of figures
put the Tall Man in good company with the bunny from Donnie Darko,
Freddy Krueger and Leatherface. His accessories included a silver
sphere, an angry dwarf and the space-gate portal.
Angus Scrimm had this to say about his action figure immortalization to
the Sci-Fi Channel in late 2007: "It symbolises something, but I'm not
sure about "iconic status". However I do prize [the action figure] for
its endearing resemblance to one of the all-time great film actors;
John Carradine. Of course, "John Carradine" appears nowhere on the NECA
box but then again neither does "Angus Scrimm."
